| Daimler | Daimler Roadster |
This is planned as the next model in the Daimler Range. The Daimler Roadster first appeared at the Motor Show in 1953, and was not available to the public until 1954. It was dropped from production in 1955. The Roadster had an aluminium body, except for the bonnet, and aluminium castings were used instead of a traditional timber frame. It was capable of 100 mph with 0-60 mph in 14.5 seconds. We have had some difficulty finding an owner of a Daimler Roadster car and because of this have been delayed in getting the information and photographs that we need to make a model master. We believe that we now have enough information but because of the delay the model is now likely to be available in Spring 2009.
