Daimler Daimler Roadster

This is planned as the fourth model in the Daimler Range.

The Daimler Roadster first appeared at the Motor Show in 1953, and was not available to the public until 1954.  It was dropped from production in 1955.

The Roadster had an aluminium body, except for the bonnet, and aluminium castings were used instead of a traditional timber frame.  It was capable of 100 mph with 0-60 mph in 14.5 seconds.

We are having some difficulty finding an owner of a Daimler Roadster car.  If you know of one in the south of England (or a museum which has one) we would very much like to take a series of photographs of the car to help us in making a model.  Alternatively do you know of an owner further away who can supply detailed photographs.  Ideally we need eight photographs of the outside of the car: front, left side, right side, rear, and one taken from each corner of the car.  In addition a photograph of the dashboard and of any special features of the car.
