Photograhps of the Jowett Jupiter Mk1 have been added to the site. The J & M Classics Jowett Jupiter SA Mk1 is now available and photographs have been added to the site in the British Sports Cars section. The model is available in several colour, hood and wheel combinations. Several MG models are no longer available. These are the MG K3, the MG High Speed Van, and the MGA. (20 September 2008)

The Jowett Jupiter Mk1 and the Healey Elliott driven by Lurani in Mille Miglia are now available. J & M Classics has now released the Jowett Jupiter Mk1, which is a highly detailed model of this popular car and comes in a variety of the original car colours. In addition the Healey Elliott car which Count Lurani drove in Mille Miglia in 1948, and which came first in the touring car category is also available. Additional photographs of the Alvis TC21/100 Grey Lady in two tone blue have now been added to the site. We have reluctantly decided to stop selling kits and these pages have therefore been removed from the site. (10 August 2008)

A Special 'Collectors' version of the Jowett Jupiter has been made. J & M Classics have made a special collectors version of the Jowett Jupiter in black with a red interior, black hood and wire wheels. We now have available a new colour for the Alvis Speed 25 Charlesworth saloon. This is now available in two tone grey, light grey over mid-dark grey with wire wheels. The Bentley Continental Type ‘R’ model is now available in two additional colours, maroon and green. (19 July 2008)

Three models have been added to the web site. Models of The Jowett Jupiter SC (Mk1a), the MG K3 and the Healey Westland that was raced in the Mille Miglia by Donald Healey in 1948 have now been added to the site. Additional photographs of the Bentley Continental type R, the Alvis TA14 Saloon, the Alvis TF21 Saloon, the Alvis TD21 saloon Series II and the Alvis TA14 Duncan Coupe have been included on the site. Articles on model making in general and particularly for the Alvis TA14 Saloon and an interview with J & M Classics have also been added. (29 March 2008)

Daimler Conquest Century Models are now available. Models of all the Daimler Conquest versions are now available including the Daimler Conquest Century Saloon. The Index to Models page has been modified to include small photographs of the models. We have now sold the last of the FL1 Rolls-Royce Countess Di Frasso models in the limited edition, and we have therefore had to remove this model from sale. The Jowett Jupiter SC Mk 1A model is nearing completion and can be pre-ordered on the future models page. (05 March 2008)

We now have photographs of the Daimler Conquest coupé. Photographs of the Daimler Conquest coupé are now available and can be seen in the Daimler Collection. Additional colours have been added to the Healey Elliott Saloon (low light), the Healey Elliott (high light), the Alvis TC21/100 Grey Lady, and the Alvis Woody. (8 December 2007)

We have a number of new models now available. Photographs of the Rolls-Royce Phantom II Brewster Newport Town Car in each colour combination are now availabe in the Rolls-Royce Section. The first models of the Daimler Conquest Coupé (drophead) 1954–1957 are now available in a large number of colour and hood combinations. The Healey Elliott Record Breaker model has now been released. This is the Healey Elliott low light car which broke the speed record in 1946 by reaching 114 mph. A racing version of the Healey Elliott is now available. This car raced in the inaugural race at Goodwood in 1948, Mille Miglia in 1948 (Racing No 37), the Belgian 24 hour race at the Spa Francorchamps, and the Paris 12 Hours Race held at the famous Montlhery race circuit. The Rolls-Royce Phantom II Brewster Newport Town Car is now available. Models of the Rolls-Royce Phantom II Brewster Newport Town Car 1931 are now under construction and the model has been added to the Rolls-Royce section (Page 1). This FL4 model will start to be delivered at the end of September. There are three colour combinations. We now have colour details sorted for the Daimler Conquest Drophead model, which will be available in October. Details can be seen in the Future Models section (page 4). Two new articles have been added to the site. The first is a review of the J & M Classics Speed 20 model which appeared in The Diecast Collector. The second is a short article on the last 10 years in the model industry from the same magazine. Both articles can be accessed from the Index to Articles page. (16 September 2007)

A new variant of the Rolls-Royce Henley is now available. We now have a special colour combination for the Rolls-Royce Henley model. These are dark silver over black with a green stripe down the side, beige hood, green seats, etched wire wheels and whitewall tyres. There are only two of these models in this colour combination. We have added a review article on the Daimler Conquest model. This can be seen from a link in the Daimler Collection.
We have recently done a complete update to the web site. The main change which is noticeable for the user is a more complete site navigation structure at both the top and bottom of each page. As part of this reorganisation we have moved Abingdon Classics MG models into a separate section on the site. (30 June 2007)

Photographs of the Alvis Speed 20 Cross and Ellis are now available. We have now added a number of photographs of the Alvis Speed 20 Cross and Ellis Tourer to the Alvis models page. In addition the details of the planned Jowett Jupiter model have been updated to show the colours which we plan to use and photographs of the initial pattern for this model. (10 June 2007)
- Two tone colour schemes are available on the Alvis Speed 25 saloon. The use of special laser cut paint masking technology has allowed us to produce two tone versions of the Alvis Speed 25 Charlesworth saloon, something that has not been possible before because it was impossible to mask the model for painting. Two versions are available, light green over dark green and light blue over dark blue. Additional photographs have been added to the Rolls-Royce Phantom II Countess Di Frasso. (3 June 2007)
- Two new models are now available. Two new models are now available - the Rolls-Royce Phantom II Henley Coupe from 1934 is a very individual Phantom II design, with a straight windscreen and torpedo shaped headlamps. It is available in a number of colours, including two special colour combinations with very limited numbers. The second model is the Alvis Speed 20 Cross and Ellis Tourer, also from 1934. This is available as an open car or in a closed version in a number of colours. Both models are spectacular - 1934 must have been a very good year for car design. (29 April 2007)
- Photographs of the Daimler Conquest and a new colour for the Invicta Simplon have been added to site. We now have photographs of the Dailmler Conquest MkI and MkII models and these have been added to the Daimler Collection. In addition we have a new red version of the AT7 Invicta Simplon S Type model and photographs of this model have also been added to the site in the British Sports Car range. (18 March 2007)
- Additional photographs of the Invicta Simplon added to site. We now have photographs of the AT7 Invicta Simplon S Type model in the new blue colour scheme and these have been added to the site. The Daimler Conquest model is now available in two versions, the MkII and the MkI. Details can be seen in the Daimler Collection. The following models are no longer available: Club2 Rolls - Royce Phantom IV Works Delivery Truck 1950/51, by Park Ward; Club4 Rolls - Royce Silver Cloud 'Pickup'; B2 Bentley 4 1/2 Litre Supercharged Chassis No. HB3404R 1929; Rolls - Royce Silver Ghost Armoured Car; MM5 Rolls – Royce 15hp 1905; MM6 Rolls - Royce Silver Cloud Drophead Coupe by H. New Details of future models. We now have available
a new colour scheme for the
AT7 Invicta Simplon S Type 4½ litre model. This was initially released
in black with red seats to match the actual car. The model is
now also available in dark blue with a sand interior and dark blue wheels.
There are a number of models which are about to be released and details
of these have been included in the ‘Future Models’ pages of the site.
Three new models in particular will be available in the next few weeks,
the Rolls-Royce Phantom II Henley Coupe,
the Daimler Conquest, and the
MG TF. The Rolls-Royce Phantom II Henley
Coupe 1934 (chassis 221 AMS) will initially be released this month in
a limited quantity as two special versions (4 of each). These will be
in either a cream body, dark green wings, light green interior, cream
wire wheels (black tyres) and dark green hood; or a primrose body, brown
wings, brown/beige interior, primrose wire wheels (black tyres) and
sand hood. The main release of this model will be in March and
these will have a dark silver metallic body, black wings, red interior,
red wire wheels (whitewall tyres) and dark grey hood.
The Daimler Conquest Mk II model will be the first of a new range of Daimler models made by J & M Classics and will be available later this month. Three colours are planned: two tone silver over maroon, maroon, and British racing green.
The MG TF (1953/1955) is a new model in the Midget Range. It will be available in March and will be in a standard version as well as a special police version.
Details have also been added of a number of other future models which are planned for later this year. (1 February 2007)
- Photographs of the Invicta Simplon model have been added to the site. The Invicta 4 ½ litre ‘S’ Type S90 Simplon model is now available and photographs can now be seen in the British Sports Cars section. J & M Classics are currently working on an exciting new range of models called the Daimler Collection. The first model in this collection will be of the Daimler Conquest, a 6 cylinder 75 bhp car which first appeared in 1953. It will be available in December as a two tone version in silver over maroon as well as in the standard single colours of maroon or British racing green. Over the next year this model range will be expanded with the inclusion of a drophead version of the Conquest, which will be available with the hood open, closed, or coupe de ville. Then the Daimler Conquest Century Saloon will be modelled, followed by the Daimler Roadster. In addition, J & M Classics will be expanding the Alvis range with a model of the Speed 25 Tourer, planned for the first quarter of next year. A model of the Jowett Jupiter is also planned. Details of these cars and the approximate timescales for the models can be seen in the Future Models section of the site. (31 October 2006)
- The Invicta Simplon model is now available. We have now moved the Invicta S Type S90 'Simplon' from the future models pages to the British Sports Car pages and are taking orders for the first batch of these models. Photographs of each version of the Healey Westland Roadster have been added to The Healey Collection and an article on the car is now available via a link from the model description, which details some of the history of the Westland model, the history of the particular Healey Westland car owned by the author, and some of the journeys he has taken in the car in North and South America. A number of photographs have been added to the article 'Exploits of the First Healey, chassis 1502'. An additional photograph of the Invicta 4 1/2 litre S Type Tourer, model AT2, has been added to the British Sports Car Section, and in the Future Models pages photographs have been added to the Healey Woody and the Healey Elliott Record Breaker. - A new facility has been added to the site. We have added an 'Index to Articles' page to the site to give easier access to the special articles which are available on site on the cars, makers and models. We have also added a new article, written by an owner, on a future model, the Healey Duncan. Two additional models, the Healey Woody and the Nash Healey have been added to the future models page. - Photographs of the new Healey Westland are now available. The first of the Healey Westland Roadster 1948 models is now available and photographs have been added to the site. The first model to be made, limited edition number 01, in a special colour and with both hood options is also for sale and is shown on the same page. (16 August 2006)

A number of new models are now available. The
new Healey Westland model
in the Healey Collection is nearing completion. The model is available
with the hood up or down and colours are Arctic White, Stone Grey over
Dark Green, Opaline Green, Light Metallic Blue, Perlescent Maroon or
Light Metallic Silver. We have one model available of a special
version of the Rolls-Royce Phantom
II open top sports tourer by Park Ward from 1932 in green over cream.
This model is from the Top Marques Gold Series, model GS17. Staying
with Rolls-Royce models we have two versions of the
MM6 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud
drophead coupe by Mulliner, either in metallic silver or pale metallic
green.
In the Club Series the last model of the Club 5, The Rolls Royce Phantom II Sedanca (1934), has been sold. Similarly the last Rolls Royce Brewster Croydon model has been sold and is no longer available.
We now have available the Abingdon Classics models of the MG EX182 cars which entered the 24 hour race at Le Mans in 1955. There were three cars with the designation EX182 in the team, these being the prototype for the MGA. A Top Marques model, the B2 Bentley 4 ½ Litre supercharged 1929 model is also available. - The Index to Models page has been updated and some changes have been made to the future models pages. The Index to Models page has been completely redesigned so that it now uses a database of the models shown on the site. This allows better sorting of the models. It also means that you can now select which models you want to list by make. A new planned model has been added to the Future Models pages, the Lagonda LG45 Tourer. An additional link to an article about the Exploits of the First Healey, chassis 1502, has been added to the future models pages for this model. The last of the Club 1 Rolls-Royce Skiff models has now been sold and a number of the second hand models have also been sold. These have therefore been removed from the site. (12 June 2006)
- Photographs have now been added for the Healey Elliott Series 2 Highlite and the special Le Mans Healey Elliott. The new Healey Elliott Series 2 Highlite is now shown with photographs in the Healey Collection. The Le Mans version of the Healey Elliott, which was specially commissioned by Marqueart, is now available in the Racing Collection, and this section now includes detailed photographs of the two versions from 1940 and 1950. - I am pleased to announce the release of the new Invicta 'S' Type Salmon model, the Healey Elliott Le Mans and the Healey Elliott Highlite models. The new Invicta 4 1/2 litre 'S' Type Coupe by Salmons (1934) is now available in two versions, an open version in mid grey with the hood folded, and a hood up version in dark blue. These can be seen on the British Sports Cars page. The new Healey Elliott Series 2 highlite model is also available in the Healey Collection in a range of colours, the main difference from the earlier model being the higher headlights located in the wings. The Le Mans version of the Healey Elliott from 1949/50 is in the Racing Collection, the 1949 model being in light silver grey and the 1950 in metallic sage green. Additional photographs have been added to the Healey Elliott models in the Healey Collection, and to some of the racing models in the Special Offers section. An additional article has been added to the Healey Elliott model, giving further historical information on the car and a review of the model. In the Future Models section details have been added for the planned Healey Elliott Record Breaker model and the Healey Westland model. As the last of the Rolls-Royce SP7 Phantom II Boattail models have been sold this model has been removed from the site. (12 May 2006)
- The Rolls-Royce Aerocar is now available. In addition we now have a new section for The Racing Collection and also have a large collection of second hand racing models. The new Rolls-Royce Aerocar, an unusual body design made in America in 1933 is now available and details of the model and a history of the car can be seen in the Rolls-Royce Section. We have added a new section to the site - The Racing Collection - where we will detail new models which are available of cars which took part in various races. At the moment this section includes MG and Bentley models. We have also added a large number of racing models to the Special Offers section of the site. This collection of racing models was collected by the owner over a number of years and covers cars which raced in many of the famous races. They are too numerous to list in detail here. One is a model of a Porsche 962C GTi at 1:24 scale signed by Richard Lloyd, most are at 1:43 scale and several are rare. Suffice it to say that there are models of Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Cisitalia, Ferrari, Fiat, Lancia, Maserati and Porsche cars. Some dates for the availability of models in the Future Models section have been updated to reflect the current position, and an additional model for the racing collection has been added. As the last Lagonda LG45 Rapide 1937 model has now been sold this model has been removed from the site. (18 April 2006)
- A new model of a Rolls-Royce Aerocar has been added to the Rolls-Royce Series. The Rolls-Royce Aerocar is an unusual American bodied Rolls-Royce 20hp from 1927 which was bodied in 1933/34 in Boston. It was specifically designed to be used to tow aircraft into the air. The car can be seen in the Rolls-Royce Series. The first models are expected to be available at the end of March/early April. Additional photographs have been added for the MG TF, MG TC Midget and Squire models. In the Franklin Mint models the last of the Jaguar SS100 open sports 1938 and the Mercedes Benz 500K Special Roadster 1935 models have been sold, as have the kits of the Maserati 250F and the Aston Martin Nimrod Bovis, and these have been removed from the site.
