Healey Westland Raced at Mille Miglia by Donald Healey in 1948 The Healey Westland is an open sports version of the Healey car with a chassis made by Healey and bodied by Westland. This model is of the car which Donald Healey raced at Mille Miglia in 1948, coming 9th. The car had the racing number 44 as shown on the photographs. Note from the photograph taken of the car after the race that the left wing has been damaged. Model colour perlescent green. Brown seats and beige hood. Note that in the race it is believed that the hood was up, but the car is seen in the photographs after the race with the hood down. Either version is available. The road going version of this car can be seen in the Healey Collection. |
